I see they have the WARTEC SKS RAIL and they have a MAG WEDGE KWIK RAIL. witch is the better of the 2 ..or is there even a better one.????? thanks .

I say the magwedge because it has the groove down the centre that can be used as backup iron sights.

Exactly support the smaller BC guy not the big business theives. Magwedge was the first to market and is the original design. Wartak seen his rail at a gun show and blatiently copied it. Theives.

Questions:
Any gunsmith work required to install and I assume once installed you can no longer use stripper clips?

Thx,

Alterations to the rifle are minimal and require only basic tools.

I noticed a youtube video of the Magwedge Kwik Rail installation. I will see if I can post it later so you can see what exactly is involved.

And yes, strippers are a no go after installation. In my opinion that's a small price to pay for what you get: a solid rail that holds zero, protects your optic and gives you over 10 inches of usable rail to plant whatever optics you would like.

Agreed,
I'm thinking of buying one so I can use my EXPS2-0 on it and add the G33 magnifier later...

its really easy to install IMO. if your familiar enough with your sks then its cake!
