Whitehorse Rifle and Pistol Club;
We just had our first SKS shoot of the season and had a good turnout as usual. Events were:40sec. walkdown-10 shots
60sec. 100yd.b/r-10 shots
5pop cans@25yd.-fastest time
60sec. 5 chick.@200m-5 shots
Mad-Minute-As many shots as possible on 100yd. target
More than a thousand rounds went downrange and everone was smiling.As usual the better shooters scored the higher points.3 more shoots to go fellas so keep them SKS's warm!-flinchlock

The MAD MINUTE!!!!:shotgun: Last year we had 13 participants firing off as many rounds as fast as possible. I'm surprised the ERT didn't show up as it sounded like a war zone.

This is the 40 second walkdown.20m sprint/walk to the firing line. Pie plates on stakes @ ~ 25,40,60,80, and 100m. 2 shots on each plate . Max 5 rounds in gun so 1 reload is required. This is where the fun begins:D

Just some eye candy. This was the first time she had shot a gun and was inquiring about getting her PAL and buying an SKS. She was super excited:dancingbanana:

The 5 popcans at 25m is where the fun begins. Most people require a reload so it's funny to watch. Best time I believe was under 10 seconds but we had a fellow on Monday take 171 seconds to kill 5 cans.:D

I'll take some more detailed photos next shoot.


I believe we have a lever gun shoot coming up, I'll take some photos of that.
