SKS Sight Adjustment Tools???

Just wondering if anyone has the sight pusher, and wrench I could borrow?

Local, or pay shipping if it isn't too crazy.....

Do they actually work? I am hesitant to buy em, as I have heard the cheap ones break easily, and only need to use em 1 time.

Probably cheaper just to buy one than to have one shipped and than ship it back.

They do work. Pick one up mlehtolvaara, for $10 you won't regret it. It can also be used on the CZ 858 rifles.

They work quite well. If they break you have a seriously stuck sight. The clamp style may need a tweek to allow it to fit over the side of the FSB.

A bit of work with a file and some black paint and you're done. Now for double duty you can turn it into a insertion and removal tool for the firing pin retaining pin on your bolt.

As said above, get the tool and you won't regret having it.

Further tip for adjusting: get some penetrating oil on the sight before you go to the range and make sure its moved a bit. Sometimes it takes a brass punch and a hammer to get it moving.

Indeed, it is a handy piece of kit. The screwy thing also fits the stock bolts on my SVT's perfectly,if you ever needed one.

I have the Tapco one and had to do exactly as Beermaker did and file it down to get it to center properly.
