Hey guys I was wondering if there is anyway to adjust the elevation of the front sight post of an SKS without the use of a sight adjustment tool. I currently do not have one although I will likely end up getting one but for the time being I would just like to have it semi-zeroed as it is shooting quite high. Anyway to do this or should I just get the tool?

Thin needle nose pliers for the elevation. Windage is a bit harder. Mallet and wooden blocks possibly.
The tool is for sure a lot more easy to use though.
