SKS sighting - Werner Herzog's "Happy People: A Year in the Taiga"

Hi guys,

This movie was mentioned before in reference to SKS bayonet removal:

I happened to find my wife watching it yesterday and noticed the SKS that was mentioned. From what I saw, it looks like an interesting documentary... plus, the images of the SKS with patches of ice/snow shows it in great light as a utility rifle.

i recommended this a week or so ago, i quite enjoyed it, especially the guy fishing for pike and shooting them with a 22 as they got near the boat!
the main guy going home for new years and having his dog run beside the sled for 150km was pretty impressive...
