Hello, I just bought a SKS and was wondering what front and rear replacement sights are the most recommended. I emailed Tech-sights but they won't ship to Canada. I've read good and bad about William's sight (mainly negative about the rear sight) and I'm not sure if Mojo will ship to Canada or not.

I bought a MOJO sight for my SMLE, I still have it kicking around and it does not really impress me. I had a Tech 200, nice sight but I sold it, If I am going to have someones product, they had better support me, so away with them and their unobtainium. There is a from what I heard nice receiver sight for the SKS made by Lyman, and Lyman loves dealing with Canadian customers from my past experiences.
good luck.Edit: the Lyman sight requires that you drill and tap 2 precise holes in the left side of the receiver.
MEPH, did you order them from Tech directly? Did you phone them or email them. I emailed them 3 days ago and got a response saying they won't ship to Canada. Too bad because from what I've read they seem to be the preferred open sight upgrade.

Beautiful shooting meph, I should have kept mine and tried it out on my sks after I did my little bedding job lol, but all is good. . . Other than the bedding job, my plain jane sks has a trigger job, a buffer, and the tech front target sight - low impact.
