SKS spring kit wanted

I think is what the OP is after? They also carry a slightly stiffer spring, but still lighter than the factory. Its 31lbs or so.

Edit nevermind read that wrong.

OP the sks functions fine with the normal pin. Slam fires are not a risk if you clean your gun properly (and if you don't, a spring won't stop the pin from jamming due to corrosion)

The Murray spring is a solution to a non existent problem. Early sks had a spring but they quickly realized it was unnecessary. Further to that, the firing pin that comes in the kit has a history of breaking. Unless they've done something different with them in recent years you couldn't pay me to use one.

I bought 2 from Murrays. Put one on my hunting rifle, but have the other for sale(it is on Town Post). I live in Medicine Hat. As Suther mentioned about failure of the Murrays firing pin - They had a problem a few years back with the alloy supplied to them that caused failure and rectified problem.
