I took 3 or 4 and pinched them in the middle with an old pair of wire cutters to "crimp" the groove shut. they then snap in half and make handy little reusable 5 round clips. that said, I've still got buckets of full sized ones.

I wish. Mine does 5 1/2, just enough so the 6th round comes off the clip but wont fit into the mag.

Try shimming your pin up until you get the sweet spot for five.

I got pails of the things and I store my PRVI and Wolf ammo on them for fast reloads. I do need to make up some 5 rounders though.

They fit .45 pistol - if only some enterprising fellow would make a "mag charger" for .45ACP, they could probably live a comfy life from sales!

Really? I gotta try it. I agree, a stripper clip set up for the 1911 would have some real practical uses.
