guys i just got my sks t-6 stock. thanks (Drewz)
its the great except, i cant figure out how to mount the gas tube hand guard?
i figured i would ask here fitst before i broke something.

You need to take your gas tube, pop the retaining pings out and remove the old wood (or whatever is there right now) and replace it with the synthetic and reinstall pins.

Super easy to swap.

Hahaha dood just ask away. Pop the tube assembly off, take a small punch or what I used was a finishing nail and a soft board on the other side, tap the pin through nicely, When popping the new handguarg on there is a front and back marked on the underside, reassemble the tube and new handguard, now when putting it back on the gun it fits very tight so I have to squeeze with both hands and then swing hte pivot lock down. It is a very tight fit but that is a good thing.

Now finish it and post up pics!!!!!!!!!!

is the pin on the rear?
your only as old as you think you are!!!!!!

Yup the pin is on the rear side of the handguard, the front slips in place and then the pin is added to the rear. I am getting up there too, 37 going on 15.
