SKS Tapco 5/20 mags question

Hey guys,
Just wondering. Are those mags pinned like the CZ-858 ones or are they built to only have 5 rounds? How does that work?

I called Paul (sksman) and he said he has some. Before I buy them, I want to make sure theyre the same we have up here.

So pinned, or built to hold only 5 rounds?

Can they accept 20? I know its illegal, just wondering how the inside of the mag is...e.i. shorter spring, heavier...etc...

All the new ones have an internal rod from the Tapco factory to limit the mags capacity. They become a prohibited device if you tamper with them, so leave them legal.

I was just wondering how it was done. Ill talk to Paul and see if he has the factory made ones. I just dont want my order to get stuck at customs and have any problems.

You should not have any problems. Paul ships via USPS. As another member has mentioned, the 5/30 mags are pinned by Tapco themselves. Paul runs a simple and stand up service. You will not be disappointed.
