SKS Trigger Job: Recommendations?

Not looking for a match job, just smooth it out, get rid of the grittyness.

What Canadian smiths would you guys recommend for this work - is there anyone who specializes in SKS's?

For me, it was a DIMyself job

Ground a 5º angle on the sear, lap it and the hammer mating surface using an abrasive compound. And smooth out sliding ribs and grooves on the sear.

If you follow the instructions in the following link and start with a new sear in case you make a mistake the trigger will turn out smooth as silk with no creep at about 4 to 4.5 lbs of pull.

Might not be bad idea to lap the hammer/sear after making that 5° positive sear cut. On one SKS I just worked on I found the trigger guard was slightly bent causing the hammer to cant slightly only engaging one hook. I know that sear is dead on as I just milled it on the Bridgeport absolutely square. Hard to get a nice pull with this one.
What compound did you use?
