Hi All,
I Have a Norinco SKS from 636 factory (maybe363, I forget), shoots well (3" @100 Yds, is built well (as I have not seen Euromodels can't compare, but feels rugged enough) and looks good enough but:
I have been reading on Russian, Yugo, SKS-D, Chinese (as opposed to Norinco?) and other seeming variants.
1) How many variants are there
2) How many countries build/built them
3) What are physical differences (fit and finish seems high on peoples lists however, mine shoots great for its price and is it really important?
4) Collectible or just shooters
5) What can I expect to pay for a near mint (any or all versions) SKS
I love mine and have been playing with the idea of collecting some prima units. Just lack the assurance this isn't a complete folly. (waste of cash)
Though I might go for the really nice looking 59/66 on the EE with the refinished stock if still available.
Thanks for any help
