Well, got my rifles on Thursday. Took me 6 hours to get the cosmo off...Anyway, after some swearing and a few cuts and scrapes I was able to take off the pin that holds the handguard. after installing the metal ventilated handguard, I notice that the rear part, that latches near the rear sight, wabbles a bit. Once its in place on the rifle, its fine, but when I take it off, it's not tight on the piston barrel.Anyone else has had this problem?

thanks.

Daniel

Some are tighter & some looser, as long as they are snug when fitted, its not an issue. They help keep the gas system a lot cooler, as well as look great doing it, we use them on almost every build now!

Where did you put that moon shape buffer thingy? in either end or in the middle? I put mine in the middle. Seemed to work better...

I got my friend to tac weld my handgaurd... Its a 9$ part and the stuff included to mount it is junk...

Since I got it welded I had no more issue with it.

Well I ordered alot of other stuff with it but Paul charges 12$ for shipping usually...

Beats the heck out of getting ripped off up here...

Well got rid of it and put the black polymer one that came with my choate stock...dont like loose wabbely pa¸rts on my rifle...lol
