sks w/tapco stock but no rail for foregrip

hello, my tapco stock just came for my sks, it does not have a rail on the bottem like my 22 ruger tapco stock, i boght a foregrip at a gunshow and it comes with a rail, ncs star , in front of the mag i have enough room for half of the rail, so i can cut it in half, i have a tap kit and every thing and with enough help from my friends i can put it on , i was just wondering if anyone else has done this with a tapco , are they too cheap to start drilling in two holes , please give me any and all imput before i go and do this in 10 minutes, thanks

From what I understand the older stocks don't have the lower rail.

What model of tapco stock do you have? Does it have a bayonet cut in the lower foregrip for spike or blade in the front instead of the rail for the vertical foregrip? If so, you have the wrong model of stock.

i just put it all together , it was a tapco stock that did not have a bayonnet cut out and it did not have a rail on the front either , i had to cut the ncstar rail that came with the fore grip and then i used a tap and drill set to put it on it looks great, i will post picks soon

just cut a peice of rail and counter sink a small bolt in it and attach to stock.

Where did you get the Tapco stock from? I have heard that you can't get these shipped to Canada anymore, cause of boarder issues/laws.

What I want to know is where you lucked out and got the 5/20 round tapco mag for it. It's all I'm missing so far.
