Yugoslavian SKS
Romanian SKS
Albanian SKS
which is built better?
which has a better finish?
can these rifles be accurate?
the chineese (norinco) tend to shoot well but the stocks are orange (literally) and look like they are made from banana wood (my oppinion).
I did not know we could put a scope on the SKS. Good to know! I just bought one 4 days ago (Chinese), and I loved it!I've shot quite a few rounds through my Yugo SKS and at a 100 yards I can hit within 2 inches of the bullseye 9 out of 10 times (I have a cheap ass scope on it though).
I regret selling my M59/66. I still have two Russian SKSs from the original shipment many years ago. They did not have the pinned magazine but blocked internally. I used to have 6 SKSs.there are two types of yugo sks. the m59 which looks like a russian/chinese/normal sks and the m59/66 which has a rifle grenade adaptor built right on the gun. the yugo guns do not have chrome lined barrels so they have to be cleaned religiously after shooting. the yugo sks is still available in cosmoline directly from zavasta arsenal in whats left of yugoslavia. contact marstar for purchase as peter seems to have his finger on the pulse of eastern guns.
