Sl8 rail removal and maintaining zero.

Crazy question. Was just curious since the rail is forced in the same spot. If you remove the rail on your sl8 with the scope still in tact. Would it go right back on and maintain zero?

It will be close. I found the rail screws backed off slightly with mine. Gave me a wandering zero.

Blue loctight fixed that and a slight adjustment of scope.
