SL8 RAS options

Not to many sl8 options for railed fore ends. These are the only ones I have found that I like.
KAC G36 RAS #99326:

There is also an airsoft KAC knock-off called the PDC G36 RAS. Made by the tokyo model co. #R2377.

I have heard that the KAC one wont work with the SL8, due to the SL8's bigger gas block (due to the heavy barrel's extra diameter)

Not sure about the B&T, although they're gonna be verrrry pricey.

On HKpro, they have B&T rails on it, the web site has different part numbers for different guns.
 
The Knight's System works just fine, whoever said they didn't is full of it.

Thats good, 500 bucks for the B&T is a lot of cash for just a rail system, especially when you can already get rails for the handguard.

The price for three Plastic HK 4" rails for the SL8 is $250. The B&T RAS has 4 rails, three are 9" and one is 7", is metal and cost $556. Overall the B&T seems a better price.
 
$2200 for the rifle, $800+ for the H.e.r.a (w/stock), $600 for the RAS..... I wish I had money to burn................
... it's a cheesy .223 for god sakes! :)

Theres no way the SL8 rails cost 250 dollars! :runaway:


Good God, thats just retarded..... I guess the B&T rail isn't so bad a deal anyways :rolleyes:
 
I just got a KAC 'set' of RAS panels. It was in the 'roll' that holds all of the dozen or so panels of different lengths and it included the vertical fore grip.

I paid $80 for the full set. All are authentic KAC.

Also, the unrestricted ultra cool rifle was $2100. The HERA $650, and the KAC RAS foreend complete with panels was $200 used, in new shape.

So it's the old story, you get what you pay for, and nothing is free.

And it's the proverbial 'tack driver', take anywhere, gopher gun.
