Single Shot Adapter P/N 100-000-399

$32.95 USD or $10 Canadian...

can younot make your own i could have swore i saw somewhere online the instructions on how to make one try a search with google/yahoo

"...do I need to use the military primers..." No. CCI #34 primers are a marketing gimmick. Regular large rifle primers are fine. Seat 'em properly though.
165 grain hunting bullets or 168 and 175 grain match bullets with IMR4064 work well. 168's for distances out to 600 yards, 175's past there.
Full length resizing every time is required too.
You really only need a sled if you plan on shooting U.S. J.C. Garand matches. Even then a two round clip will do. If you insist on loading single rounds, fill the rest of the clip with empty cases.

Numrich sells them and are better to deal with then Brownells on small items like this.

Two totally different animals. Numrich's is steel and from the sound of it, it's a modified en-bloc clip. atleast it reads like that.

The one from Brownell's is machined from Aluminum with a steel tappered hex bolt at the end to minimize wear. It will hold the action open and has a channel cut so then you load one round, you depress it down to release the bolt, The action will close so you can shoot. Functions well.

As for coping one, why? $34 is not that much, I did make a copy once, too much effort.

Regards

Pete

$34 is too much for something you don't even need to use when single loading an M1.......the $12 numrich one is even too much.

It's a shame but it looks as though the US guberment requires an export permit for this part.
Pete

No export permit is required. This part is not restricted. I called Brownells, they have dropped the product line.

Midway has them, but they will not ship to Canada.

sorry.
