I couldn't find anything on this while I was searching but I'm thinking about buying a slide-in-frame (think CZ 75 if unfamiliar) striker-fired pistol. I felt it was time to ask a more knowledgeable crowd.

Does anyone know the name or who makes one?

There are a few autoloaders in which the slide is carried within the frame instead of outside. However, I've never seen anything about it providing any accuracy, or anthing else, better than the traditional slide outisde the frame. Accuracy can be improved throught the use of fixed barrels in autoloaders, but that has nothing to do with the relationship of the slide to the frame.

I guess you haven't heard of the SIG 210....;)

NOT striker fired, but probably one of the most accurate pistols on the planet.

I know of no slide in frame striker fired pistols. FWIW it doesn't aid in accuracy, but it will allow a design to have a slightly lighter slide, and possibly a lower bore axis, both of which aid shootability.

The few slide in frame guns there are tend to be well made as it's a slightly more expensive process to do it that way. That's where accuracy comes from

"Hitzy", with respect, I want to reply to your sarcastic comment. I do know the Sig 210.
What makes the Sig 210 such a wonderfully accurate pistol are a number of factors that have to do with Swiss quality control during manufacture, and not just the relationship of the frame to the slide. Having the slide bear against the frame on the inside surface allows for a longer engagement surface. In turn this makes the "unlocking" process smoother and less prone to have the barrel move off center during the violent action of "unlocking" and recoil. The comments from "Cocked & Locked" are correct. Another really accurate autoloader is the Benelli B-76, It's a regular production handgun (no longer made), the remarkable accuracy of which results from manufacturing contols and a fixed barrel, without any special work necessary to make it so.
