Slide milling in Canada (or US?)

I have a Sig P220 10mm, which due to the location of the rear sight dovetail does not work for red dot install kits that use the dovetail. I've tried several bridge mounts, and they work but I'm not completely happy with them.

Is there someone in Canada who will mill a slide and install a red dot site? (and you'd recommend?)

If not, what are the laws for sending just a slide to a gunsmith in the US? Does that run a-fowl of ITAR or other laws? If it's just the slide and I already own it in Canada, I'd hope it doesn't, but you never know.

Thanks

Black box seems to be the go to these days I've seen some of their work up close and they do a really great job I would have no problem sending them one of my guns.

Just for future reference, in 2014 I sent a Colt 1911 slide to the Colt custom shop in the US. Called the Firearms center and they just told me to put a letter
inside the box stating it was being sent to the US for repair and return. Mailed in via Can Post and a month later Colt sent it back via Fed EX. No problems at all in either direction.

I figured out exactly what I needed and bought the cutters, then had a local machinist machine a 1911 slide for me a few years back. Worked out great. It was before I moved, and I don't know anyone where I live now that I could ask.
