I just got my Stag 16" AR in the mail today, after much waiting and waiting on Canada Post. It looks great, and I can't wait to get shooting!

Anyway, I'm going to be doing some clinics and matches this summer at Borden, and I'm just wondering what sling you guys use? This will be one of the few things I want to get before the clinics start.

What slings do you guys use for the CQB matches/clinics?

Thanks!

Just get this and dont look back: http://www.oneshottactical.com/Merc...t&Product_Code=SL-VCAS-P&Category_Code=SL-BFG

Keep in mind im not speaking out of experience, but I just bought one for the rifle I am waiting for. Its highly recommended from lots of people on here.

Im sure someone will come along and agree........ maybe.

Are you going to the CQB matches at borden? (oops, you said so up in your original post lol)

In that case, see you there my fellow CQB noob.

BFG Vickers Combat Application Sling is the best bang for your buck. It is well made, durable and sells at a decent price. Check out One Shot Tactical.

Slings aren't used much in service rifle. Usually take it completely off or only use it for carrying to and from the butts and the shooting points.

I had a look at the Blackhawk sling online. It looks pretty good. Bring'er to the range next time you're out. I should be at the next plinking day (the 2nd of April, I think).
