Sling on a Weatherby PA-08

A few months ago, I got myself a Weatherby PA-08. I've been using it at the range for trap mostly. One thing that I overlooked when I bought it was the fact that it doesn't come with swivels or anywhere to attach a sling.

I looked around, I've seen other versions of the PA-08 with a magazine cap with a swivel on it, but can't find one for sale.

I have heard that the chokes and some of the furniture is interchangeable with the 870, I was wondering if the aftermarket uncle mike's 870 magazine caps would fit?

Did you get it with the wood stock im guessing? to install you most likely need to drill and screw a swivel stud into the stock at back and front you get a different cap. I dont think they are interchangeable from remingtons. Most without are ment to be upland guns, so no swivel. Or drill a hole and bolt one into it. or drill and tap a threaded hole into the cap

According to the Weatherby website, both the PA-08 and the SA-08 come equipped with swivel studs. I just got a new SA-08 and it has swivel studs. You must have got an oddball.

From the pictures though, only certain pa08 come with a swivel stud on the cap.

Try tri star. I have an armsan 612 that I got from tradex. It came with the swivels. Its not a exact match for the weatherby but I'm thinking they come out of the same factory. Tri star seLls the viper G2 I don't know if they would have a cap to fit or not. Chokes for mine are a match to the older beretta mobile chokes same as a franchi
