Sling option on a XCR

I used an Eagle MP5 sling from Seals action gear. It was a good price but I had to mount another loop on the front for the Hk snaps. I run a Blue Force single point sling now. I find a single works alot better with vests and switching to pistol.
 
I got a magpul Multi Mission Sling. which converts nicely from 2 point to single point config in a snap. (not an original concept I know) but the execution is nice.

Even without the Ambi sling mount (not available for the XCR) it's still a good option IMO.
 
Got mine through Wolverine.
Very happy with it. The utility of it is great even for a range dog like me.

Just under $60 for a piece of nylon seems a bit steep but they were the cheapest and it is a really nice sling.
(Brownells sells for US$50) So there's no pain there supporting our good Canadian dealers.

Got the ASAP from them also and it is a really nice setup.

Now I need the RSA. Magpul stuff is like dope.
 
Well there is no sling mount near the muzzle of the rifle. What do you use ? all i can find is the Troy mount and it is sold out in all the places i looked.
 
BFG. You can buy the Troy mount or a DD QD swivel mount from Brownells. I found all the Canadian sources to be endlessly sold out or unresponsive.
 
I made a sling mount for my XCR from an old steel scope ring. Cut off the ring part, file the rest flat, drill and tap 10/32, screw in sling stud. Then you can use any detachable sling swivel you want!
