I recall a thread on these beautiful engraved leather slings for M1 Garands and M14 rifles ... the guy had a site and was either Hawaiin or Asian ... I've done a search and can't find the thread ... help???

Otokiak, I have a Les Tam sling on my target rifle and I can assure you Les is a pleasure to deal with. He will ask you for your physical measurements, and the length between the swivels of your rifle, and the sling will be made for you specifically, with numbered holes so you have an index for quick and easy adjustments. The leather is thick and heavy and of top quality as is the workmanship. I think you have the choice between double or triple, double riveted keepers, and between stainless and parkerized frogs.

Yep that's the guy ... time to spend more money ... seems I'm going to have to wait awhile too as his delivery dates on his site seem to be backed up I think ... but man I love those type of slings. :D ... and he'll engrave it to boot ... I like that! :D

If you don't want to go threw all the hoop's on geting this excate sling PM and I have a simlar 1 for cheap.
