Ok, this is likely be a stupid question...my sling swivel is coming loose in my synthetic stock. Is there an adhesive I can use to make it solid again? Maybe a threadlocker or something?

If it's the one on the forearm there are some studs that are threaded for a nut. You should have enough depth for a flat washer and a nut and clear the barrel. If it's on the butt I'd go to your local body shop and ask about a 3M product that's a 2 part glue that they use for sticking body panels together. This stuff when it sets up is tuff. You'll tear sheet metal before you can pull 2 pieces apart. You would only need a little dab of it so I'm sure they wouldn't charge you anything.

Thanks for all the tips. It's on the forearm, and if I unscrew the swivel all the way out, I can see a nut in there already. I'm not really worried about it pulling out, because it seems solid, but the swivel is screwing in too far, wearing away a bit at the stock which used to stop it, so that it goes an extra 1/6 turn, and making the swivel post off centre. (hopefully that makes sense.

The stock is an HS Precision synthetic, the factory one for a Rem 700LTR.
