I note someone is or was selling a Browning BLR 358, the older model with the protruding magazine, and it has sling swivel studs. It is described as original.
However, another merchant has another Browning BLR 358 for sale on here, newer model with the flush magazine, that does not have sling swivel studs.
Were the sling swivel studs an option at some point on the BLRs? I would like to buy a BLR 358 steel receiver but want one in original condition. I expect this will mean a later model if I want sling swivel studs.
Does anyone here know enough about BLRs to say when sling swivel studs began to be factory installed, and whether it is possible for a later rifle not to have them when an older one does (and they are said to be original).
