Slinging the Ruskie SKS?

Anyone know how to sling this thing? Do I have to take the sling apart? On My Chinese SKS there is a leather loop that goes on to the stock. Obviously the clip is for the front. Thanks.

Place rifle upside down. Pull front sling tab through the buckle and through the leather keeper. Put sling tab through rear swivel UPSIDE DOWN. Thread it through the leather keeper, then through the buckle both ways. Clip tab onto front mount. Adjust sling. Enjoy.
