I puchased a browning bps about 6 months ago. Love the gun, super smooth... but it has a decent amount of slop in the slide/foregrip. Is this common? Is there a way to tighten it up?

I'm not sure how the slop is presenting itself. The forearm fits over the Action Bar Assembly and is held by a nut, check the nut for tightness.

thanks Lodi. Ill strip it down and check that nut. The slop is perpendicular to the barrel, side to side not lengthwise.

I have a fair amount of "wiggle" in mine as well. I can't find the source, even stripped to paint camo last year. I love the gun and it doesn't change that.

We put at least 1000 shells through it last wing season. A lot of heavy magnums with hard and fast racking. I love my bps. It will stay with me as a solid reliable piece.

I want to upgrade to a semi, but my wiggly bps will back me up on every trip.
