Slot in action bar mossberg?

Have you ever seen this? New design or a lost endmill? From my 590a1 14 barrel kit i got from g4c this week
Update: G4c told me that wasnt normal and have to contact north sylva for warranty

My 20 gauge Mossberg 500 doesn't have the notch, weird did you ask the retailer if the others are like that?

Hmm, might be a new thing, my 14" A1 is from 2015 and doesn't have that notch.

That notch is probably there for a spring that is only needed with the flex fore end. They probably just make one kind of action bar now to cut manufacturing costs

You are right, made some research and it seems these are retaining spring on the flex, what is strange there is only one side (right) has a notch on mine and flex has on both side
