Recent forays for local rabbits and a recently very nice rabbit dinner at Trevj's reminded me of the great usefulness of my sorely neglected slow cooker.
So I put it back to work as of late.
Mine is 4 quart capacity I think. Regular size??

Ingredients;
-one mature hare
-one red onion finely chopped
-five carrots chopped
-two cloves of fresh garlic
-one beef bullion cube, I use Knorr brand often
-one full glass of red wine (whatever suits you as a "glass")
-three cups of water
-salt & pepper to taste
-oregano to taste

Now one hare suits me fine, but for two adults I suggest one per guest.
It's just a tight squeeze in my slow cooker.

I put this on for 8-10 hour cook ideally, and at the lowest heat setting.
I find it best at the 10 hour setting if you can manage.
One can prepare your ingredients the night before & start this in the morning just before you leave the house.
After the work day is done, you have a nice hot meal ready for you at home.
The tender meat just about falls off the bone and one hardly needs a knife at all!
Even just the broth is awesome IMO.

Enjoy this please all you wascaly wabbit hunters!!! ;)
