Interesting. I'd like to see one of the reversed bullet 303 rounds that supposedly fractured sniper/observer protection plates in The Great War.
 
Testing ammo at assorted materials etc. was been done long ago. Military specs had required penetration of assorted materials at assorted distances as well. Seen them some where on-line. No idea where, of course.
Mind you, shooting at stuff that didn't start as a tree is great fun, with or without a high speed camera. Cinder blocks literally disintegrate at 100 with either a .303 or 7.62/.308. Not as, um, humerous as what happens to a 48 oz can of tomato juice when a 12 ga slug is applied.
