slow shipping?

is this normal? i ordered a 1600 count crate of 223 on the 10th, the website says it shipped out on the 15th finally, is this typical of sfrc or am i just one of the lucky ones?
 
I'm at SHOT and they are a person short. We sold 168 cases of it and we got a bit over welmed. I'm hoping for a good hunk of it to me shipped by the end of the day Friday. We also had to have the freight company keep it an extra two days on the dock because our forklift blew up.

your slugs took a few days, my crate will take two weeks, i guess an email saying what the chemist said would have been nice and wouldnt have ended up with me making a post asking

you have been waiting 9 days with canam and your complaining on every forum, yet this guy waits 2 weeks and your jumping all over the post? Get a grip
 
3 business day depending on what time on the 10th your ordered it. That's pretty good to me.
I've had nothing but good experiences with SFRC.

I ordered some Norinco ammo earlier this week and said I would drive from Ottawa to pick it up Thursday. They were great and emailed me this morning to let me know the shipment was delayed and won't be in until Friday. Now going to drive down on Saturday.

A1 service and communication in my books.
 
im not really complaining i was simply asking if this was normal, as stated theyve had issues, and i said that with the delays maybe an email to those who ordered would have been good business practice, nothing else. as long as this stuff arrives hopefully by the weekend ill be happy

I think the problem is majority of people dont realized things dont ship the second you hit BUY, theres processing, picking, packing, processing the shipment with the shipping company, then of course waiting on the courier to make the pick up, add in weekends/holidays time of year being one where lots of companies are short handed for employees due to vacation or illness that and the obvious im guessing they work the similar hours to most of use being 8-5 give or take mon-fri so if you place your order friday night at 11:30pm dont expect it to be shipped saturday morning, i had a recent order with SFRC and on their end they were awesome quick processing and so on quick replies to my emails with regards to transfer wait, only hold up was BC CFO and well we all know how that has been going but thats another thing. I would for sure use SFRC again, now if only i could choose a different CFO.
 
why wouldnt it be worthy of a post? it was a question that i asked to see if it was normal for them to take this long to process an order or not. i ordered it on a thursday, friday and sat are shipping days, at least in ontario they are, so i was asking if it was normal practice for sfrc to take this long to get an item out to a customer as ive never dealt with them before. is there something wrong with that? and by the chemists answer no its not normal for it to take this long, it was just dragged out due to a some circumstances, some beyond their control. was your reply really needed in this post?
 
I think some people are tired of signing into cgn looking for news and up dates, only to find compliant after compliant or comments on slow shipping and processing is all. The idea of emailing, calling or pm comes to mind over posting on public forums. But hey it seems to be the norm now for some reason.

Yes, it was. For some of us who have been here for several years, this #####ing and complaining to dealers bit is really grating on my nerves. Every time I log in, my initial page is swamped with wasted threads such as this. People need to use common sense. You ordered on the 10th. The 12th and 13th were weekend days. When you put 2 and 2 together, this seems more than reasonable. The fact that you weren't able to come to this conclusion scares me.

5 days from the time you ordered until the time it shipped, including a weekend and the fact that thjs is SHOT week... is great.
