My front sight post stick out off the protective wings after I zero it. I have a slr receiver kit with a delton a3 upper kit (F marked front sight), a small a2 sight post from truenortharms and a Carry Handle sight from truenortharms to. What part make it stick out like that ? Can it be a fake F marked front gas block ? Thanks

I am not familiar with that rifle, but I have played with iron sights a bit. If the rifle is "zero'd" as you want it to be, and if the front sight is too high for your taste, then however much you reduce the front sight height, that is also the amount to reduce the rear sight height, to remain "zero'd" as you wanted it to be. So, whatever is making your rear sight as high as it is, that is what is requiring the front sight to be as high as it is.

Pics help, but I'm assuming you can adjust the front and rear sights however they may adjust. If your front sight is maxed out for elevation, and presumably your rear sight is only adjustable for windage, then if that's how it's zeroed, then your barrel is cocked. It could be a matter on torque or perhaps something is pushing up on the barrel.

Again, pics help.

Can it be is own weight on a sand bag ?

No. Because the sandbag would push the sight up. If this was an issue you might end up with the sight being too low in the gas block/sight body.

Could be several things - check that your carry handle is the correct spec for the F marked sight, try having a friend shoot to zero it.

There are various tips and tricks to adjust for best combat zero with AR iron sights. Good that and you'll work through it.
