I'm sure that this has likely been discussed before but here we go.

I have been wondering about rifled barrels, sabot slugs and shotgun scopes. What kind of accuracy and effective range can you expect with this type of combo?

Looking to know, off a rest, what you could expect.

Please don't turn this into a "know your limitations" and hunting ethics thread.

using my mossberg 535, the rifled barrel and come cheap federal slugs with a bushnell red dot i can hit 4-5 inch groups at 100 yds all day. and that's standing, i haven't tried with a rest but im sure that would tighten it up even more. also its fun!
