slug ammo???

I am thinking about buying a slug gun and was comparing different ammo, federal 300gr sabot in done at 150 yds but the hornady sabot 300gr at 200yds is -7.4. am I missing something here

All relative to what distance your 0 is

federal was at 100yds and hornady was at 150yds, I can see how that would make a difference

Roll your own, so you can dial in whatever range you choose
I have loads for 100yds and 150yds depending on where I'm hunting (I hunt both situations)
I have a H&R tracker II, it's a really light gun
And makes dialing it in a bit of a process...
5 - 6 rounds is usually enough at a sitting.
Lots of documentation will be your friend.

Hornady sight in at 50 yards. Shoots 2" high at 50. Flat at 100.
