I'm thinking of picking up a rifled slug gun (12), just for range shooting. Any recommendations? Just wondering if anyone has a Rossi/Nef etc, anything fairly inexpensive and what you think of it. I originally thought of picking up a slug barrel for my rarely used 870 but they are almost as much as another shotgun. I doubt I'll ever hunt with it outside of a possible bear at fairly close range, just looking for another toy for the range.

My Girlfriend has an NEF or more correctly Harrison n Richardson (H&R) 12g slug gun. I don't know why she bought it, she's kinda small and it bucks her around a bit too much. Its fired less than 20 rounds and I think she's gonna sell it. I can hit milk jugs at 50 or so paces with no problems. THe NEF design for single shot break open guns is indestructible IMO. I have a couple of them for years with no problems at all.
