Slugs - Winchester Partition Gold

I can't get Partition Golds to group at all, went through two boxes, what a headache.

Switched to 2 3/4 Rem CopperSolids and was sighted in with 3 rounds.

I had a similar problem many years ago with BRI sabot slugs. It was caused from shooting regular lead foster slugs in the fully rifled bore first and leading-up the barrel, caused the sabot slugs to shoot like crap. After I scrubbed the lead out of the bore the sabot slugs shot terrific. WK

I tried many Sabots over the years and have had the best results with the cheap federal lead Sabots .nice thing about them in thy are cheap compared to many. And on deer moose and black bear thy work great. Only time I would consider a premium slug was grizzly defence or buffalo charge

I'll consider them Federals, thanks Dutch. C.T. Has them for $18 a box, maybe I can find them a little cheaper.

I hope so we pay around 10 12 bucks a box of 5
