Slugs

I'm looking for some resonably priced 12ga 2 3/4" or 3" slugs for some plinking. Is there even such thing as cheap slugs?

I pay around $6 a box for federal 3" 1.25oz foster slugs..... this is resonable for me as I only shoot between 150-200 of them a year, mostly just to check site in and have a little fun

The 15 pack of Winchester 2 3/4" Foster slugs goes for about ten bucks at Canada Tire.

Same here, but they foul the barrel like mad. They leave alot of plastic gunk behind in the first few inches after the (?forcing cone? or whatever its called; what is it called?).

Are all slugs like this? I have a few boxes of remington but I always forget to dig them up.
