I just started reloading, in my first batch where I used the built in primer tube to prime, I noticed a small dimple in the middle of the primer. Can someone who is or has used the same Lyman Turret press or seen this before confirm this is normal? (I see a little raised area in the middle of the primer punch. Do I sand that off or this is normal (that seems to be the cause)

It's normal. If it bothers you, polish/file/sand the face of the mandrel to remove the bit left from machining.

That's not too bad, I've seen much worse.

Thanks, I loaded and fired 50 rounds with different grains for load development didn’t experience anything out of the ordinary so going to leave it alone.
