Any advice on what scope has 35mm or less (maybe max 1.4 inches) in diameter for the eyepeice (ocular bell)?

Thinking of something a bit vintage like a Weaver k4 or k6, or maybe an old Leupold like the m8, or a redfield. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find external dimmentions for them. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Rifle is a k98 Mauser that was drilled and tapped at some point. I want to keep the original bent bolt (even if the numbers don't match) and not forge or alter it.

Even with the highest rings on Leupold standard bases, the bolt handle limits the size of the eyepeice.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to have encountered this, let's make a list of eyepeice diamters of vintage scopes.

Thanks!

I see.....

Well, managed to get a few numbers.

Weaver K4:
35mm, 34.6mm

Weaver K6:
36.5mm
Lyman 4x:
36.5mm

Weaver K10:
38mm
B&L 4X Scopechief:
38mm

Leupold M8:
39.37mm

Measured a k4 at the Chilliwack gun show, and it was 36.5mm. Maybe they were different sizes depending on the year.... Or the thing was out together using a k6 eyepiece.

Leupold Vari-X 3-9 Compact (80's vintage), measures in at 34.5mm.
