Small Game Loads for .308 and .30-30

A medium weight cast bullet or even pulled FMJ military bullets are good small game killers when driven at about 1600 fps with charges of Unique or SR 4759 in the .308. The same applies to the .30/30, but if you shoot pointed bullets you should single load them, or have one in the chamber and a second in the magazine. A pointed bullet tears up small game less than a flat point. I load 30 grs of W-760 in the .30/30 behind a 195 gr cast bullet that I single load. The slow powder develops low velocity and surprisingly mild blast.

There are some low velocity loads using trailboss powder for many popular rifle cartridges. What I'd like to know is how the accuracy is when you reduce velocity so much.
