Good morning everyone!
We just moved to Warman, SK and I am looking for some rabbit hunting place ( North of Saskatoon), please advice. I am not real hunter but always enjoin to walk with my dog and 22 , some where in trail bush.

Thanks in advice.

I used to live there myself- honestly the easiest thing to do is simply go for a drive and talk to some farmers. Introduce yourself with a smile and a handshake, and let them know you'd like permission to shoot a few varmints- most will be more than happy to let you.

Dairy and beef farms will be a good place to check out, as they've always got some varmints around, and the owners are usually good to deal with. If you like to shoot pigeons, dairy farms are the best for sure. If you're a coyote hunter at all, most farmers will welcome you with open arms, and for myself, shooting coyotes made me a lot of friends out there!

Sure I will try some farmers, can you hint me some place please.
Is there any Government bush where I can go right now for rabbits and etc with 22?On google maps I see lots of bush between Duck Lake and Macdowall?

Thanks

I wouldn't even bother heading that far out actually- try around Osler/Hague area and hit up a few dairy farms out there. Most of the folks are plenty happy to be rid of some varmints. I don't know of any government bush area out there, but that's cause I've always preferred private land.
