so, is this right fellas.

with 500gram powder tubs, works out to be around 7715 Grains, do ya devide this by amount of grains in ya Load - to work out how many loads ya get per Tub?

would 170 odd 45gr loads sound about right

Thanks Gents, math not my forte,... however this doesnt seem like a great deal..

at $55 per Tub , devide by 170 equates to *grabs calculator* around about 31 c a load of powder?

31c powder, $1.20 bullet, 10c primer ........... brass is obviously gettin re newed each time at no cost, cant be bothered workin out the cost of the brass from a factory load haha. assume .70c initially?

are my loads around about $1.60 a bang?

i do get a few woodleighs for nothing so hat brings my bang for buck down a heap :p

an the current 150s came out of a box in a shed haha, so thats a win.

Wow! Those are good prices. I just paid $50/lb each for Varget, Retumbo, and 4350 and was happy to get it. It was from a local guy so I saved on shipping at least.

Be aware that Hummason probably doesn't have any Varget at the moment, that price is from the last time they did. Lawry's doesn't have any either.
Varget isn't easy to find in Canada, and it'll get worse the longer this craziness goes on.
Our American neighbours are buying up everything they can lay their hands on that will go bang.
I paid $45 for a pound of H4350 a few weeks ago, and considered myself lucky to get it at all.
I'm unlikely to be able to use it in the next few months anyway.

Yeah it will be interesting to see what the new price of powder is once higginson and Hummason get their new shipments. In a few weeks...
