Small Question in regards to RobArms XCR

Hey all,

Long story short, my BHO pin is sent to Wolverine but I just got an invite for some plinking with a friend.

My question is, would firing the rifle with no BHO cause some damage? Or would I just have to go through the anguish of manually cocking it after emptying a mag? (I'm thinkin the latter)

If the pin is missing I cant see why it would hurt anything to fire it. The gun wouldnt know the difference. It would just act like its chambering another round at the end of the mag. This about it this way, other than the pin itself, does it hurt the gun when the pin fails to hold the bolt open (when its starting to wear out)? If not, how could it hurt anything if the pin was missing?

It would be just like it didn't have an HOD - run it like an AK, only with better ergos........and accuracy......and trigger..........and sights........and

Well technically, it's harder on the gun when the bolt slams home on an empty chamber versus chambering a round or holding open. But the gun should take it.

you could do a mag change when your gun chambers the last round of the previous magazine if you're concerned about this
