Smith 2014 Mount....

Does anyone here know if Smith will ship their M14 mounts to Canada? I am looking to buy some of the 2014 Weaver mounts.

I know their website used to say that they did but I can't find it anymore.

Does that moronic $100 rule still apply?

100$ limit doesn't apply to the mount. If they will ship different story.

It is not required for the rifle to function so its just a accessory like a bayonet!

US State Deptpartment determined that it wasn't worthwhile to fool around with mounts and rings - too many different types and also not a funtional part of a firearm.

Ergo - order as much as you want - No longer a controlled item!

No, it was for my dad actually. He decided to wait for a while before mounting optics on his M14.

I just checked out Smiths web site, WOW. A 2014 for only $125. If you dad was thinking of scoping his M1A at anytime, I would jump on these while they still have some.

Mine is the 2024 and I am very happy with it...

Got my Smith # 2024 mount two years ago. It rocks.

As for the new part number #2014 at Smith's web site.

They must be the same mount. Weaver style.

Did notice at Smith's web site...part #2024...is now

A Mid-range Trigger Upgrade. All for the price of $125

Waiting for confirm?? It was confirmed year ago. I've bought one #2006, one #2024, two muzzle break, Trigger Group parts kit etc. from Smith Enterprise in the past year. No tax, no open box and no brokerage fee.
