smith and wesson 66-1 VALUE??

I'm trying to get an idea what a 357 s & w 66-1 ser#58k0626 is worth.
it has some wear marks, what else should I be looking for?

Straight crane, cylinder end shake, worn hand, timing. Worth between $200-500 depending on exact model (options etc) and condition. - dan

I agree with all of the above, also check for push off, #### the hammer and then see if when you push on it it falls. If so this is an easy fix, if not fixed it is dangerous.

I found one on the net, but am a little apprehensive about buying it without seeing it in person. The guy lives too far away from me to go see it. He sent pics, and it looks ok, with some scratchings.
He wants 350. It has wood and soft grips.
