Smith and Wesson 9mm FPC safety mod

Has anyone performed a safety button mod on a S&W 9mm FPC?

What is required to mod or convert the safety button for left-hand use?

Anyone delved into such a mod? If so, please chime in.

Someone published a plan for a 3D printed lever that would enable operation of the safety with one hand, but only for right hand use.
I too am looking for something to facilitate operation, I have never found anything yet...
I will keep an eye out on this thread, hoping something will be done some day...
