Smith and Wesson Factory Tour

That was really interesting, theres a lot of different steps that go into producing the finished product. The suppressed rifles were neat to see, too bad we can't use them here. It would save a lot of hearing damage.

I had the tour in 2010, when the Range/Training Centre/Retail Store was still around (now closed). Museum was located in centre of factory, got to see rare S&W guns like the original Dirty Harry Model 29 (6.5" barrel). When I was done, they asked if I wanted to see anything else, I said sure, find Jerry Miculek and Julie Golob, but they were not around the factory that day. They were very accomodating.

I also toured the original Springfield Armory which is the US government facility and museum also located in Springfield MA, quite a trip.
