I can't find a store that has these in stock.

canfirearm.com claimed to have some coming in but from my limited research on them it seems a sketchy option.

I'm on a bunch of wait lists but no email so far.

Anyone aware of a trustworthy store that has some?

G4C recently got in a batch but they sold out within 10 hours between Wednesday and yesterday. May be a good idea to put yourself on their notification on the product: https://g4cgunstore.com/product/smith-wesson-mp-fpc-9mm-18-6-black-non-restricted/. That's how I was notified about it 2 nights ago.

Some of the other site sponsors carry it (out of stock at present but doesn't hurt to add yourself to notification:

Tenda: https://www.gotenda.com/product/smith-and-wesson-fpc-9mm-18-6-non-restricted/

FOC: https://www.firearmsoutletcanada.com/smith--wesson-m-p-fpc--9mm-18-5--13932-.html

The Shooting Centre: https://store.theshootingcentre.com/smith-wesson-m-p-fpc-rifle-9mm-18-6-barrel-model-13932/

Al Flaherty's https://alflahertys.com/smith-wesson-fpc-9mm-18-5-barrel-pistol-carbine-non-restricted-13932/

Not a site sponsor but Cabela's Canada does have it in stock right now (2/9/2024). Just checked. But because they are not a site sponsor I won't hotlink. But you can google it.

I just happened to walk into my local gun store while he was unpacking 4. two were already sold, I bought one and he said he sold the 4th to the next guy that walked through after me. That said I love it, great little fun gun. Seems well made and shoots perfectly.

Why is HiCal holding back one mag? Web site says comes with two. Everyone else has three?

That is interesting and is an important detail to note. MAYBE (and this is just conjecture) it is referring to 2 additional mags to the one that is in the gun. It makes no sense for them to take a mag out as the whole thing is pretty much in one sealed package.

When I got mine (at G4C) and presumably others will be similar - I had 1 empty mag in the gun's grip, while the other 2 mags were in the buttstock holder. So three (3) overall.

Everything was all included in the carry bag which was inside the original Smith and Wesson box. Maybe that's what HiCal is referring to (2 mags in addition to the standard included one) and the language is confusing. But yeah, anyone who is wanting to buy from them should ask them to confirm in writing that it's a total of 3 mags that come with this thing. Everyone else who I know got one (from various different shops) all got three (3) magazines in total.

How common are finding real S&W mags? I'd like to just get 10 round compact mags for it and forego the little spacer plates. All I see are ProMags which are supposedly awful but I have no personal experience with them.
