Smith and Wesson m and p 2.0

Not your best choice but should be functional. A gen 1 Pro would be better in terms of the trigger. Without the safety it's the same as a Glock so no issues.

For similar money look at a clean used Beretta 92. One of the most accurate stock 9's you can get.

probably going to be just a range plinker. but wondering if I could use it for ppc if I decide too. I am a lefty and thought the mp would be good for that. I have a 686 revolver it might be better for ppc anyway. Maybe I should look at the beretta 92 I have an 87t .

cheers

The S&W M&P is a good start for PPC Service. Most of the autos in this price range are okay like the CZ P10F. Moving up the bigger dollar scale towards C$900 puts you in Beretta 92FS, Glock 17, Sig P226 & some 1911’s company.

PPC is an accuracy game with no power factor & generous time limits. If you want to outgrow your under $600 gun & then move up to something better you can elect to do that. Another way to proceed is to grow into your guns’ ability to improve your scores. That means buying a better auto. The CZ SP01 creams most guns under C$1000.00. In that range you can also look at the Glock 34....
